Quads

Bicycles with 4 wheels are called "quads." They may be for single riders or for tandem riders who ride side-by-side. Quads are beneficial for seniors and riders with a variety of disabilities that may prevent them from safely riding a bicycle on their own. They are also beneficial in cases where able-bodied riders are shorter than their rider with disability.

Electric Assist: Quads are usually larger and heavier bikes so most quad manufacturers offer an electric assist option.
