If you build, sell, rent or loan adaptive bicycles including tandems, trikes, recumbent trikes, and quads, that help riders with special needs, seniors, veterans and wounded warriors enjoy an active life, you should be listed in this site! To get listed read the information below and fill out the application form.

Our Mission
Our goal is to make BikesForEveryBody.com the one-stop where individuals and families with special needs and temporary or permanent disabilities and riders with alternative body types can come to find the right cycling equipment for their needs.

We aim to have every adaptive bike, trike and quad listed in this site along with their manufacturers and the dealers who sell them. This site will also serve as a resource for healthcare professionals who can prescribe these bikes as durable medical equipment to their patients. We will also list adaptive cycling organizations, funding resources that may help riders purchase more bikes, and events where people can see and try adaptive and alternative bicycles.

BikesForEveryBody.com is intended to be a resource to support the adaptive cycling industry in the hopes that it will raise awareness and increase sales for all of us so we can keep focusing on our mission to promote cycling as an inclusive activity and put more people on bikes!
Who Is BikesForEveryBody.com?
BikesForEveryBody.com is a project of Shelley L. Patterson (aka Shelley at Buddy Bike). I started in the cycling industry in 2005 as the Director of Marketing & Business Development of The Buddy Bike. In 2021 I founded Bikes For Every Body to be the manufacturer and distributor of The Buddy Bike for riders with special needs. Since 2005 I have not only sold bikes for riders with special needs, but I have also been an adaptive cycling advocate. Over the years I have collected a lot of resources and met many of the manufacturers and program heads in the adaptive cycling world. I noted that while there are some amazing people in the adaptive cycling industry, and quality equipment, there is a great lack of information and resources to help riders get started in finding the bikes, finding a dealer or how to buy the bikes, and finding funding. I have always felt that our adaptive cycling segment of the bicycle industry was scattered, leaving our customers at a loss, or with a limited selection when it comes to their alternative cycling needs.
Bikes For Every Body is my growing project where I will gather adaptive cycling information into one central location as a starting point for customers, medical professionals, non-profit organizations, and bike shops. This project can be successful if my adaptive cycling peers and friends participate. For years I have shared my resources and referred customers to other adaptive bicycle dealers in order to meet their specific needs. I believe that in helping to inform the customers, the healthcare professionals and teachers who help them, and the organizations who have adaptive cycling programs or who provide funding, we can boost our industry!

The Benefits

Reach cyclists around the world! Many special needs cyclists will search far and wide for the special equipment that you may offer. Being included in a resource that will have a worldwide reach offers exposure to a wider audience. Having multiple listings in the site will place your shop both as a resource in your state AND under the types of adaptive bikes that you manufacture or sell so you can reach your specific audience.

Some of you may know me and my relentless efforts to promote The Buddy Bike. I will apply that same effort to making this site and everyone listed in it, a success!

We are receiving weekly requests for bikes and trikes! We are sending some referrals but if dealers and manufacturers have listings, these potential customers could be driven directly to your site!
The Cost
There is a fee for adaptive bike manufacturers and dealers to be listed in this site. This fee will cover: web host fees, administrative expenses, online ad placement including Google ads, analytics reporting, brand promotion by social media and email, and other marketing expenses.
