How To Order
Adaptive bicycles can be costly and will last you for many years, if not a lifetime, if cared for properly. You may order The Buddy Bike or one of our other adaptive bicycles through our online shops at bikesforeverybody.com or buddybike.com but we want you to be happy with your purchase so to receive personal and compassionate service please call 786.489.2453 or REQUEST A GOOGLE MEET APPOINTMENT.
Your Order Will Not Ship Until We Contact You
If you have not called us in advance and you place an order online, we will call to confirm the order details and bike shop shipping details. Your order will not ship until we have contacted you.
Shipping Policy & Delivery Times
We ship new bikes worldwide. We ship demo bikes and Trade-In models within the continental U.S. only. The shipping rates in our shops are for continental U.S. orders.
It is the policy of Bikes For Every Body, LLC to ship our bikes to local bike shops so a professional can complete the assembly. Bikes that are not assembled by a professional at a bike shop will not be covered by warranty. Please keep your assembly receipt as proof. Please provide the name, address and phone number of a local bike shop that has agreed to receive and assemble the bike when placing your order.
For in stock items, allow up to 10 days for delivery of US orders and 4-6 weeks for international orders. Out of stock or Trade-In model delivery times may vary. Bikes ship by freight or internationally by air freight.
It is our policy to ship our bikes to the bike shop of your choice so a professional can complete the assembly. When shipping internationally we may make an exception and will ship to a local airport. The customer will need to claim the bike at customs to SELF CLEAR or a broker may provide this service and arrange local delivery. We require that customers take their bikes to a professional bike shop for assembly. Bikes that are not assembled by a professional at a bike shop will not be covered by the limited warranty. Please keep your bike assembly receipt as proof of assembly.
You should also check with your local customs office to see if there are programs and if you are eligible for reducing or eliminating duty taxes when receiving a product for a person with a disability.

UK Taxes & Brexit Update
We do not charge VAT and duties during the checkout process. VAT duty tax and import fees are payable by the customer to the shipping carrier upon delivery.
"Delivered At Place (DAP). Also called delivered duty unpaid (DDU). This term indicates that the seller only takes responsibility for shipping the product, and requires the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees. This option may create unexpected costs for customers and can result in delayed or returned shipments."
In addition the bike cost, kickstand and optional accessories, shipping and handling, Florida sales tax, and bike assembly may be additional. Additional fees may vary by bike model. Import fees and duty taxes may apply on international orders. These items will be noted on your product quote.

Returns & Refunds
Full refunds are provided if orders are cancelled prior to shipping. Due to the expense of shipping adaptive bicycles, once a bike has shipped, we have a no returns, no refunds policy. We provide as much information as possible in our online shop and descriptions but every rider's needs are different so we suggest that you call 786.489.BIKE (2453) for help in choosing the right bike for your needs. All sales are final so if available, we will help you arrange a test ride. Accessories can be returned or replaced within 30 days for a refund on the product cost. Shipping and credit card processing fees will not be refunded.
